The Empire Recovery Center’s Withdrawal Management program is a three to seven-day stay in a quiet setting. A one-page application is required prior to being accepted into the program. This can be done over the phone. Once accepted, a medical clearance will be required. This clearance can be done at one of the local emergency departments and it must be done no more than 24 hours prior to entering the program.

If you are prescribed any medications to help with the symptoms of withdrawal, these medications must be picked up prior to arriving at the facility. No smoking is allowed while you are in the withdrawal management program. Nicotine gum is not allowed. Nicotine patches are accepted.

You will be asked to change out of your clothes and into scrubs. Your clothes will be washed and they will be clean when you discharge from the program. You are advised to leave any valuables at home. Watches, purses, wallets, cell phones, and any other personal items will be logged, tagged, and securely stored until you are ready to leave.

If you have any questions, please contact our withdrawal management staff.
